Introducing the Camden County New Jersey Law Offices of Richard E. Yaskin
New Jersey and Pennsylvania attorney Richard E. Yaskin, Esquire , opened the Southern New Jersey LAW OFFICES OF RICHARD E. YASKIN, P.C. in 1995. A 1981 graduate of Rutgers University – Camden School of Law, Mr. Yaskin primarily represents individuals who have been wrongfully terminated, discriminated or retaliated against, or sexually harassed. Representation ranges from negotiation of an enhanced severance to pursuing federal and state court litigation, trials and appeals.
Yaskin has been an active member of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) and its New Jersey affiliate (NELA-NJ) for 26 years. He was NELA-NJ’s Vice President for 1998-2000 and 2012 – present. From 2008 – 2012, Yaskin served on the Executive Board and as Amicus Committee Co-Chair.
He participated in a panel of plaintiff’s and defendant’s counsel addressing a noteworthy case then pending at the NJ “Supreme Court: “Winters v. NHRFR – issues raised” before the Labor & Employment Section at the NJ State Bar Association’s May 2012 Annual meeting. In March 2012, Yaskin lectured on “Top Ten Obstacles To Accommodation Of Disabled Workers And How To Overcome Them” at the Community Health Law Project’s “ADAAA Update” annual conference.
Yaskin is a 32-year member of the Camden County Bar Association and serves on its Professionalism and Labor and Employment Law Committees. From 2006 to present, he has been a Bencher (mentor) of the Sidney J. Reitman Employment Law American Inn of Court. Since 2012, he has served as Executive Director of the Inn’s South Jersey branch.
